Docker Hill is the top of the hill near relatives property, owners spend time between Mendocino county and New England where they have a chain of Hardware stores. The owners love this Rose, and wanted Bee Hunter to purchase the all the grapes from the vineyard, however they decided to share it with a good wine making friend of theirs from Dutton Gold - Dan Goldfield. This is family land that belonged to the wife’s family (Carson). Her Mom always wanted a vineyard to be planted there. Also the Miwok and Pomo indians would trade their wares ( pelts and abalone) for goods on this land.
